The Central Bank announced: In line with the implementation of the recent resolution of the meeting of the heads of the three branches to regulate and supervise the cryptocurrency market (cryptocurrency) in accordance with the Central Bank Law, and also in order to create transparency and reduce related risks and regulate cryptocurrency exchanges in the country, the framework for receiving payment services from cryptocurrency exchange platforms has been notified to activists by this bank, and it was decided that all cryptocurrency platforms must have a single bank account approved by the Central Bank for their activities.

Based on the framework set by the Central Bank and in order to ensure the transparency of rial activities and prevent any possible abuse, information related to the activities of all cryptocurrency brokers, including details of trading activities, managers' profiles, and their financial interactions, is received and reviewed in accordance with the law.

Based on this notification and with the aim of enabling more precise monitoring of the financial health of this area, cryptocurrency brokers are required to conduct all rial receipt and payment operations related to their activities transparently and through a specific account approved by the Central Bank.

Also, given the arrangements made for exchange platforms to receive payment services directly from payment service providers and banks, the aforementioned platforms are prohibited from receiving payment services indirectly.
